Jay Lurie was born and raised right down the road in Charlotte, NC. Jay left the busy piedmont for the adventurous mountains of Mars Hill College on a full ride soccer scholarship. After a fulfilling four years at Mars Hill he graduated with his Business Communications degree and turned his attention to the nearby and burgeoning market of Asheville.

Jay has developed an in-depth knowledge of the local market, with an ability to analyze, identify and follow the trends that create and determine market fluctuations. He also has earned an abundance of experience related to sales, bank foreclosures and repossessed properties. Both before and after the real estate boom, Jay has learned and seen how our region’s market can move, adjust and hold out for better times. One of his strongest qualities is his ability to create a win-win situation for all parties involved.

While he is always open to all opportunities, Jay is a specialist on downtown Asheville real estate and the burgeoning Asheville urban market. He offers deep insight into commercial real estate for sale, commercial real estate leasing, and residential real estate and development. He is a co-developer of The Pioneer Building, 5 Points Village, and 37 Montford Ave., currently owned by the Asheville Board of Realtors.
